Let’s get married in our backyard!

Ok, picture this: you’re moving with your family to Australia and decide to throw a goodbye party with all your friends and family. In addition to that, you decide to get married and surprise all your loved ones in that very same party. The perfect two in one, right?

I absolutely loved the idea as soon as I got hired for this assignment. We do love all the elegant intimate weddings, but alternative weddings will always have a place in my heart. The opportunity to be yourself and not following the traditional rules of a wedding party. Kangaroos, colourful outfits, burgers, alligators, a short wedding dress, fireworks, you name it. This was a wedding to remember for its own uniqueness and also because it was the first wedding assignment I had the pleasure to shoot in the Netherlands.
