About Paris: Beauty is in everything you least expect to find it.
“Beauty is in the smallest of the things. It’s in the silence, it’s in a crowded street, it’s in your morning coffee and the way you look at yourself in the mirror before that date. Beauty is in the way you walk while listening to your favorite song. It’s in those fallen golden leaves. It’s in the way you look at something at suddenly reminds you of someone you love. Beauty is in the way you miss someone. It’s in that risky text that you will regret later. It’s in the stories you keep telling your friends over and over again. It’s in the way you look over the clouds. It’s in the way you dream. It’s in your favorite dessert. It’s in the way you walk barefoot in a forest during a rainy day. It’s in the way you take care of someone. Beauty is in everything you least expect to find it.
The beauty of the smallest of the things is simply the way life is. Can be messy sometimes, but that’s part of the process. We romantize it too often, yes. It’s the way we are built up. And deep down we like it. We love to be the main characters. And that’s just fine. It’s the way things are”.
I hope you like these photographs that I took during my third time in Paris. One of the highlights for me was to visit Montmartre; a place that I haven’t had the opportunity to visit before and was on my list for quite some time. Obviously, it stole my heart. It’s impossible not to love all those beautiful unreal streets.
Don’t forget to keep dreaming.
With love,
Catarina.
