Trash the Dress: Catarina + João

Catarina and João shared their love with friends, family and to all universe watching them. And I was there, not capturing their love with my vision but celebrating, dancing, crying, believing in true love.

A month later, in the end of August, me, Catarina and João, went to Peninha (one of my favorite places in Sintra, actually) to do this photoshoot. It was my wedding gift for them. And more than a wedding gift, an expression of my love for them as my friends. Gratitude. Because not everything we do for others has to have a powerful meaning or excuse to do it. Love is the true fuel to give. What gives the meaning to everything is purely the love we have inside us. And not an occasion or an excuse.

These photographs are probably in the list of my favorites that I ever took so far. Not only because of their moody and intimate aesthetic, but mostly for the feeling that carries them. Two humans becoming one. Love is again, the fuel for the true beauty of these ones.
